Transmission
My car was originally equipped with a Powerglide, but somewhere in the later years, it's been swapped to a TH350 trans.
This transmission will get a completely rebuild with a TCI super pro kit, it will therefore be upgraded to hold at least 450 HP.
This kit contains the same parts and pieces that TCI uses to build their StreetFighterŽ transmissions.
I will also swap the converter to a TCI Sizzler unit with a little more stall-speed than original (approx. 1700 RPM).
To help bleed off heat and help the transmission to get a long life, I will add an aluminium deep transmission pan and a extra oil cooler.
To do this rebuild, I will need help from my uncle and a handbook written by Ron Sessions.
