You have got to have a plan, and stick to it. I've always liked the Pro Touring approch to classic cars and Stielows 67 red Camaro I read about in 96, will inspire me through my buildup. So it will be a Pro Touring influenced restoration while retaining the car's precious orginality(Factory Touring??). Well I will keep it pure and simple.

Some nice 17" or 18" wheels(which ones?), upgraded suspension(tubular control arms etc.) and disc brakes are top priorities. I also need to paint my car and I've deceided for a silver paint(Nissan KY0). With a red bumble bee stripe. Everybody wants a silver paint nowadays, but I've always liked the color and think it would be great for the looks on my Camaro. The interior also needs some fresh aftermarket parts and weatherstripping. The wiring harness also needs to be replaced.

I will focus on getting a good driver car, a real cruiser. This car wont't see strip time, maybe one or two times a year if I get the 383 CID engine I dream of. It should be no trouble turn the key around and take a long trip somewhere....
